The members of the Cypress Corvette Club would like to thank the public for making our first S&P car/truck/bike show on Sept 5th a great success. We would also like to thank the Shrimp and Petroleum Festival for their invitation to join one of the best festivals in Louisiana. The corvette club and S&P Festival are working together in order to provide entertainment and activities for both young and mature. Please remember us for next year as we learn and get better each year.

We also would like to thank Morgan City public officials and employees for their time and effort in order to have a safe and professional show. A cheer goes out to Mr. DeLaune and his assistants for their support and praise.

Morgan City please remember our sponsors whose financial and gift donations allowed us to put together a car/truck/bike show to be proud of. Even though times have gotten tougher, these sponsors saw a great cause and event.  We are thankful to those sponsors here in Morgan City but also a special thanks to those outside of the city limits who cared for our community event.  Let’s give those thanks and our business!

To all of our participants I must say, “You are all winners!” You have given to a great cause and also have started a new tradition for our Shrimp and Petroleum Festival. You may have faced stiff competition, but know you were there with the best. It is our pledge to improve our show with more plaques and judging in a timelier manner. Our goal is to allow the public to see our winners before the show comes to an end. The ideas are endless. Thanks to the car clubs for your help and support. Plans are already in the works for next year.  We will expand on what we have learned and attempt to provide a better and more efficient show.
